Built for Roads That Don’t Forgive

Arizonian Tires? Yeah, we started in some little Phoenix garage way back in 2008. Why? Because our founder was just plain sick of replacing tires that couldn’t handle the brutal combo of scorching asphalt and that rocky desert terrain. You know what I mean.

We make tires specifically engineered for the American Southwest—and I mean specifically. What works great in Seattle absolutely doesn’t cut it when it’s 120 degrees in Scottsdale. Every damn tire we produce goes through heat testing at a ridiculous $140^{\circ}\text{F}$. Then we hammer them on the same unforgiving roads you drive every single day. We don’t mess around.

We learned early on that driving out here, in the desert, is its own beast. Freezing nights to blazing afternoons, the temperature swings are insane. Then you get those sudden monsoons that turn the roads into legitimate rivers. Those endless stretches of highway that seem to shimmer and buckle in the heat—we don’t just test for those conditions. We live in them, literally. Our compound formulas?

They come from years of real-world testing on Arizona’s most punishing routes. From the winding switchbacks of the Mogollon Rim to those long, terrible hauls on I-10. Seriously. We even partnered up with local trucking companies and off-road clubs just to understand exactly what fails first. And why. You gotta know the failure points, right?

“Three cross-country moves and these tires still grip like new. The rocky terrain around Phoenix used to eat my old tires alive, but these handle everything from gravel roads to highway miles without missing a beat.”

Ashley K.

“Put 40,000 miles on my first set before replacing them. The tread wore evenly and I never had a single blowout, even hauling my boat through summer heat that hits 115°F regularly.”

Jake M.

Common Questions

How long do these tires typically last?

With proper maintenance and regular rotation, most drivers can expect 40,000 to 60,000 miles of service. Actual lifespan varies based on driving habits, road conditions, and vehicle type. Regular alignment checks and maintaining correct tire pressure helps maximize longevity.

What’s the best way to check if tires need replacing?

The penny test remains a reliable method – insert a penny into the tread with Lincoln’s head upside down. If the top of his head is visible, it’s time for new tires. Also watch for uneven wear patterns, sidewall cracks, or vibration while driving. Most tire shops offer free inspections.

Do these tires come with a warranty?

A standard manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the first 5 years from purchase date. Tread life warranties vary by model, ranging from 40,000 to 70,000 miles. Keep purchase receipts and maintenance records for any warranty claims.

What tire pressure should be maintained?

The recommended pressure varies by vehicle – check the sticker inside the driver’s door frame for specific PSI requirements. Desert heat can increase pressure by 2-4 PSI, so checking when tires are cool provides the most accurate reading. Monthly pressure checks are advisable.

Are these tires suitable for desert driving conditions?

These tires are specifically engineered for hot, dry climates and rough terrain common in southwestern regions. The rubber compound resists heat buildup, while the tread pattern provides solid traction on both paved roads and occasional dirt or gravel surfaces.

How do these perform in rain?

While optimized for dry conditions, the tread design includes channels that effectively disperse water during occasional desert storms. The siping patterns provide adequate grip on wet pavement, though drivers should still reduce speed during heavy rainfall as with any tire.
